Who doesn’t love fireworks to celebrate America’s birthday? Kiwanis hosts the annual Freedom Fest on July 4th, which includes food trucks, live music and — you guessed it — FIREWORKS! 
 
Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, Karen Wilson and Konrad Brandenuhl with Bartlesville Kiwanis invited everyone to Sooner Park on July 4th for Freedom Fest presented by Patriot Auto and all the fun that comes with this annual celebration.
 
It begins at 4pm with the sign up for the Hot Dog Eating Contest near the bandshell sponsored by Bambino's. The contest begins at 4:30pm with the proceeds to benfit the relief efforts in Barndall.
 
The food trucks and inflatables get going at 5pm sponsord by Truity Credit Union followed by the Patriotic Progam at the bandshell at 6 with The National Anthem performed by the Ad Lib Singers. The Kid's Parade and Costume Contest will follow immediately sponsored by DSR. Bring your lawnchair and enjoy the music of Dr. Melon at the bandshell starting at 7:30pm.
 
The fireworks get underway at 9:30 with the music background provided by 100.1 KYFM.
