A Bartlesville man was seen in Washington County Court Tuesday for a probable cause hearing on a violation of zone of safety around schools, child care facilities, playgrounds, and parks. Christopher Sanders was arrested on Monday, June 3^rd after he was seen in Sooner Park on Friday, May 31^st.

Sanders was convicted of forcible sodomy and lewd molestation of a minor back in 2012 and was forced to register as a sex offender. Sanders was given a 25-year  sentence with some suspended.

With this violation coming after his release, the District Attorney’s office plans to file a motion to revoke at his arraignment on Wednesday.

Sanders was given a $25,000 bond and will reappear in court Wednesday afternoon.
