Osage County Nutrition Director Kyme Vincent was at Monday's Osage County Commissioners meeting telling the Board that there was a problem with the way a grant was written. Because of the way things were worded, it was Vincent's opinion that the grant would get thrown out because the writing of the grant had been altered.

District Three Commissioner Charlie Cartwright said that he had spoken with people at higher levels and was told that they could proceed with the grant. Vincent said there were numerous things wrong with the application, but Cartwright said the only difference in the application is the amount that the grantee will supply. Vincent disagreed with that dissertation.

The Board will re-examine this agenda item next week.
