A Collinsville man was seen in Washington County Court on Tuesday on two charges of sexual abuse of a child under 12, lewd or indecent proposal to children under 16, and public intoxication.

During a forensic interview conducted on May 15^th, the victim’s alleged that Rodger Lewis had inappropriately touched them on multiple occasions.

According to an affidavit, on May 1^st Lewis was set to be responsible for the two victim’s and two other minors for the span of eight consecutive days. During that time, Lewis is accused of sexually assaulting two of the minors on more than one occasion and exposing himself at least once.

The victims also told interviewers that the abuse had gone on for more than two years. Lewis later admitted that he had touched the children inappropriately to a family member over a phone conversation.

Lewis was given a $100,000 bond and his next court date is set for Friday, May 31^st at 9 a.m.
