A large crowd arrived at White Rose Cemetery in Bartlesville Monday morning to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms on Memorial Day.
Pastor Jason Elmore, president of the Bartlesville Ministerial Alliance, hosted the service inside the historic mausoleum, with flag presentation by Scout Troop 6.
State Sen. Julie Daniels provided the remarks. She says Memorial Day for her is all about connections and honoring those who served the country.
The Blue Star Mothers presented a memorial wreath and the Washington County Honor Guard held a patriotic demonstration outside of the mausoleum.
