The Pawhuska Huskies hosted a two day team camp with the likes of Sperry, Dewey, Tishimingo and Blackwell. Coach Matt Hennesy admits that they still have a lot of work to do before the Huskies take to the field against Nowata in three months, but said the leaders of the team have taken a step forward.

The number one goal of getting out of spring practice is staying healthy, something Hennesy says the Huskies were unable to do as two players got injured. He said both players will be back at the start of fall camp.

Hennesy said that as a team, the Huskies got what they wanted out of spring practice and this week's team camp. Now it is about fixing and refining some of the small things going forward.

Pawhuska will get the rest of this week off before going into skills camp next week and summer pride workouts.
