Assistance Available for Those Affected by Last Week's Storms

The American Red Cross has been sending resources to Barnsdall and Bartlesville to residents in need of various types of assistance since last Monday's tornado struck the area.
Public Affairs Director for the American Red Cross, Matt Trotter said they have been there from the beginning, but are now working with communities to move forward in the recovery process.
Trotter says some of those resources will include several local and state agencies who are able to attend and assist the community moving forward.
Trotter said that the American Red Cross is hosting something similar at the Wal Mart in Bartlesville on Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Trotter added that when coming to these events, it is important to bring proper documentation so that you can verify a place of residence.
