Oklahoma Wesleyan awaited 4 pm this past Thursday as they were waiting to learn who and where their opponent and location would be in the first round of the NAIA national tournament. The Eagles were able to grab a three-seed after finishing the regular season 35-18 and KCAC tournament champions.

The Eagles found out yesterday that they are going to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to take on the two-seeded Crusaders of William Carey University. Oklahoma Wesleyan Head Coach Kirk Kelly shared his initial reaction to the reveal.

The Eagles will have to win three games before dropping two if they want to advance to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. Kelly details what he feels his team needs to do to be able to get to the NAIA World Series.

Wesleyan and William Carey first pitch will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 13th. We will have more updates on Oklahoma Wesleyan in the NAIA national tournament over the next week.
