OKWU Men Start Postseason Play at Home

Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s basketball suffered their first blemish since December last Saturday as they fell to the Evangel Valor on the road, 80-74. For the Eagles, they had won 18-games in a row since the defeat to Southwestern before the Christmas break and had won all games but three by double-digits during that stretch.
Eagles Head Coach Donnie Bostwick talked about the loss to the Valor.
Oklahoma Wesleyan wrapped the regular season at 26-2 and 20-2 in conference play while keeping the #4 ranking in the final NAIA regular season poll. OKWU now looks to the second matchup of the season with the Bethel Threshers albeit this time a more important matchup.
Wesleyan will open up conference tournament play Thursday night against a team they’ve beaten already this season, 78-66. Bostwick talks about the mindset as they enter postseason play.
