Nowata basketball has hit a recent snag in the schedule, after a solid 5-2 stretch through the end of December through the beginning of January, the Ironmen have lost four of their last five contests. The Ironmen currently sit at 7-11 on the season, and a recent 1-2 record in the NEO tournament.

Head Coach Derick Ott talks about his clubs recent play during the tough stretch.

The Ironmen now only have five games left on their regular season schedule before postseason district play begins in mid-February. Coach Ott knows this could be a huge stretch for his club to grab some momentum as they will face five teams of which four they’ve already seen once this season.

Ott talks about the upcoming final leg of the regular season.

Ironmen are off until next Tuesday when they host the Dewey Bulldoggers for the second round of the Adam Hooper Bowl this season, and we will have that game for you on KRIG 104.9 FM and video on KRIGTV.com
