The Pawhuska Basketball Tournament starts on Thursday and with the exception of Oklahoma Union, there isn't much local flare in this year's tournament. The likes of Crossings Christian, Alva, Morrison and Rejoice Christian highlight the field and Pawhuska boys coach Jason Snodgrass says heading into the tournament that if his team is hitting on all cylinders, they could walk away as tournament champions.

Senior guard Trenton Miles has been the leading scorer on the season so far for Pawhuska. Snodgrass said it is important to get him going early and that his teammates have done a good job of giving Miles those opportunities.

The Lady Huskies will tip-off at 7 p.m. against Oklahoma Union and the boys will follow against the Cougars at around 8:30 p.m. Tournament coverage can be heard all weekend long on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1 and KPGMTV.com.
