Dewey Basketball Ends 2023 on High Note

The Dewey Bulldoggers are sitting in a good spot after finishing the 2023 campaign on a two-game win streak and sitting two games above .500 at 4-2. Dewey was 2-2 and had two matchups left against Caney, KS and the Chelsea Green Dragons to round out the first semester.
Dewey started things with a wire-to-wire victory over Caney on Dec. 15th, beating the Bullpups 56-47. Dewey traveled to Chelsea earlier this week to face Chelsea for the first of two matchups this season and came back from a 14-point deficit to win, 49-48.
These were Head Coach Lance Knight’s thoughts on the come from behind win over Chelsea.
The Bulldoggers are now off until Jan. 2nd when they travel to Pawhuska with their two-game win streak on the line. Coach Knight talks the plans over the break, and says that the two wins will be huge for morale.
We will have more on area hoops over the course of the next 10 days.
