Dewey Football Ends Season with Ninth Straight Loss
The Dewey Bulldoggers football season has come to an end after the Bulldoggers fell at home on senior night to the Cascia Hall Commandos, 47-6. This one started in favor of Cascia very quickly as they took the opening kickoff back for a 73-yard touchdown to make it 7-0 with only 15 seconds off the clock.
Cascia would build their huge lead in the first quarter, as they would outscore Dewey 27-6 in the first 12 minutes of play. For Dewey, their first touchdown came via the air from Ryder Muninger as he found Bryce Sickler in the back of the end zone for a 13-yard touchdown pass.
That would be all from Dewey offensively as they were never able to get back into the endzone. The third quarter was wacky though. Dewey trailed 27-6 in the third when the Dewey defense forced two turnover on downs, along with Gavin Lynch forcing a fumble and recovering it.
Cascia would add their final two touchdowns in the third though as they would go up 47-6 before the clock hit zeroes. Dewey falls to 1-9 to end their season, and garner their longest losing streak since 2009.
