Bartlesville Radio spoke Thursday with US Representative Josh Brecheen (R-OK Dist 2) regarding the election of new US House Speaker Mike Johnson from Louisiana.

 

“Rep. Mike Johnson is admired by the entire Republican Conference because of his integrity, his humility, and his commitment to put the best interests of the country over his own political self-interest.,” Brecheen said. “A former constitutional lawyer who worked on religious liberty issues, Rep. Johnson is a man who has a deep rudder of faith and understands that our nation must return to founding principles. I was honored to vote for him and congratulate him on being elected Speaker.”

 

Also, in our podcast, Brecheen raised the alarm regarding terrorist threats to the US not only from those on the terror watch list coming over the souther border, but those already here. According to Brecheen, death threats have been made to former US President George W. Bush and a former Iranian journalist who is now a US citizen.

 

Brecheen also touched on getting the nation's finances in order with the US House set to get to work on 12 appropriation bills.
