Bartlesville Police confirm a home in Colonial was burst into by seven masked youths carrying firearms early Tuesday morning.

 

According to one of the victims, whose name is being witheld at this time, the seven suspects entered the house at about 2:30am on Tuesday with guns in hand. They went straight to the bedroom of the man's teenage son, beat and robbed the young man and then fled.

 

At this point, this is all informational as of now no arrests have been made and the investigation by the Bartlesville police department is just beginning.

 

Similar instances have been reported but it isn't clear if they are related.

 

The Bartlesville Police Department is not revealing any details at this time.

 

These crimes would be youthful offender eligible cases.  

 

Upon the development of suspects and sufficient evidence for a charge, the state would likely file charges under the youthful offender statues and request the juveniles be held in detention pending the outcome of the case.
