Dewey football continues its stretch of tough losses as they fell in Tulsa to the Central Braves, 40-7. A couple of major positives for the Dewey offense as they didn’t turn the ball over for the first time in multiple week's, and also got their first rushing touchdown of the season on this quarterback sneak from Ryder Muninger at the one-yard line on the opening drive of the second half.

The Dewey defense also continued to force turnovers, as Gavin Lynch nabbed an interception in the endzone on the first drive of the game to end the scoring threat from the Braves.

After the interception though, it would be all Tulsa Central. They scored three touchdowns to lead 20-0 at half, with two of them on the ground and one through the air. They would add three more scores in the second half to take the win 40-7.

Dewey now falls to 1-7 and have their second-longest losing streak since 2010. They hit the road still in search of their first district win next week at Verdigris at 7 pm.
