At Tuesday's Board of Osage County Commissioners meeting, District One Commissioner Everett Piper read a resolution that would allow for better communication between the Excise Board and the Board of Osage County Commissioners.

That resolution says in part that the Excise Board must provide budgetary recommendations to the county commissioners on an annual basis. Furthermore, the budgets must be presented in writing with necessary documentation and that the BOCC has the ability to go review any line items and make adjustments as they see fit.

Piper talks about why he feels as if he thinks the resolution is needed.

The Board unanimously adopted that resolution.
