The Nowata Ironmen are in the midst of their first multi-game losing streak of the season after they dropped their second game in a row last Friday, this time to Pawhuska. The Huskies hosted Nowata for the matchup and won easily, 50-8.

For the Ironmen, they were without leading tackler Nathan Humphries, starting receiver and safety Bear Savala and their starting quarterback, Trevor Emberson.

Ironmen Head Coach Chance Juby talks about the loss.

Nowata now sits at 3-3 overall and a 1-2 record in district play as they look to a Thursday night matchup with Claremore Sequoyah. A Thursday night game makes for a short week for the Ironmen, who have already played a Thursday game once this season.

Juby talks about the short week.

Ironmen and Eagles kick off Thursday night from Ironmen Memorial Stadium at 7 pm.
