Motorcycle Driver Crashes Shortly After Pursuit in Osage County

An 18-year-old Prue man is hospitalized after a motorcycle crash Monday night near Hominy.
 
OHP reports that  Cody Piotrowski was traveling north bound on a motorcycle at about 9:35pm Monday on County Road 2535, about 8 miles east of Hominy, when he attempted to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed.  
 
According to the report, he departed the roadway left for approximately 40 feet before laying the motorcycle down, going airborne and then rolled an unknown amount of times before coming to rest on the other side of a fence.  
 
Piotrowski was thrown off the motorcycle and came to rest approximately 10 feet away.  He had previously been pursued by an Osage County Deputy but the pursuit was terminated four minutes before the collision was discovered.
 
Piotrowski was transported by to St Francis Tulsa in Tulsa, OK. Admitted in good condition with arm injuries.
