Plans for a long-awaited pickleball court in Bartlesville has moved one step closer, as a bid opening is scheduled for October. This base bid includes six pickleball courts, a perimeter fence, covered benches, fencing to seperate courts and a fenced-off aisle in the middle of the courts. 

This project is something that was part of the 2020 General Obligation Bond Election and is something Bartlesville resident Tyler Vaclaw advocated for at the time. 

The courts are expected to cost around $450,000 to install and will be put in north of the tennis courts in Sooner Park. If things go according to plan, construction could start in December.
