More than 40 members of the Osage Nation were invited to a debut of the movie, “Killers of the Flower Moon,” at its premiere in New York City. Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear, Addie Roanhorse and Gigi Sieke were among several who walked down the red carpet with Director Martin Scorsese and others.

Julie O’ Keefe, an Osage wardrobe consultant who was able to attend the premiere, told media members that Wednesday’s event is something she will remember for a long time.

“The New York premiere was amazing. Osages were woven into every detail of the event, from helping with the costume exhibit in the lobby to walking down the red carpet. As a community, we are powerful and beautiful.”  

There will also be a screening of the film at the BFI London Film Festival ahead of the October 20^th release.
