Osage Nation to Consider Constructing Health Complex

The Osage Nation is proposing the construction of a health complex in Osage County because of health disparities being created and a lack of outdoor activity venues in Osage County. The proposal being discussed would feature ball fields, playgrounds and other ammenities. 

The current proposal is to construct the facility using the State of Oklahoma Department of Tourism and Recreation's Land and Water Conservation funds. 

The Osage Nation is looking for input, therefore they are holding a public forum at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pawhuska Community Center. If unable to attend, you can also take an online survey on the Osage Nation Facebook Page. For more information, call 918-287-5555.
