A Bartlesville man was seen in Washington County Court on Monday afternoon on the charges of domestic abuse and interfering with an officer. Eric Watson was arrested on Saturday after a call was made to the 100 block of NE Creek in Bartlesville. When police arrived at the situation, Watson was uncooperative and unwilling to talk about what had transpired with the victim.

Watson allegedly tried to back away from police when he was being handcuffed and resisted arrest before being detained. The responding officer was told by another officer that had responded to the scene before he arrived that Watson allegedly threw a mirror at the victim. Due to Watson having a pending domestic abuse charge less than a month prior to this one on Aug. 25, he was given a bond of $50,000.

Watson will be seen on again on Tuesday, Sep. 18 at 1:30 pm
