The Nowata County Commissioners continued courthouse improvement talks on Monday morning in their regular weekly meeting. First topic of conversation was centered around ARPA funds being used to make a “modification” on an emergency vehicle as part of the remote radio installation project. Commissioner Paul Crupper and Emergency manager Laurie Summers had a small back and forth about whether or not the funds could be used.

Towards the end of the meeting, things got a little dicey between Commissioner Troy Friddle and a Nowata Courthouse worker who said that she felt that Friddle had been disrespectful to other courthouse workers during this process of trying to make improvements.

The commissioners will meet again next Monday at 9 am at the Nowata County Courthouse annex and the meeting is open to the public.
