The Bartlesville Redevelopment Trust Authority will meet Wednesday afternoon to discuss and take action on two incentives, including nearly $200,000 for the expansion of the Kiddie Park.

Kiddie Park has already set in motion the expansion that will add five new rides – including an larger roller coaster called the “Dragon Coaster,” a large slide, the “Dizzy Dragons,” “Octopus,” and “Huff and Puff.” All the rides have been purchased and some concrete pads have been poured. The total cost of the expansion is $2.7 million and the Kiddie Park has reportedly already raised $1.3 million.

If approved, the $199,800 public infrastructure incentive from the BRTA would include funding for new electric service for the expansion, paving, new park lighting and landscaping.

The BRTA will also discuss and take action on a proposed $10,000 façade improvement grant for Musselman Abstract in downtown Bartlesville.

The meeting begins at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Council Chambers of Bartlesville City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave., in downtown Bartlesville and is open to the public.
