Dollens Calls for Walters' Impeachment

A former Bartlesville resident, who now represents Oklahoma City in the State House of Representatives, is calling for the impeachment of State Superintendent Ryan Walters.
Minority Whip Mickey Dollens, a Democrat who represents District 93 in Oklahoma City, has called on Speaker of the House Charles McCall and Senate President Pro Tem Greg Treat to begin impeachment proceedings against Walters, after he shared a parody TikTok video of a Tulsa Union Schools librarian saying she was "Woke."
Since Walters shared the video on social media this week, the elementary school has received at least three bomb threats.
Dollens said on X, formerly known as Twitter, and on Facebook that Walters is engaged in "persistant weaponization his office" and is "putting innocent lives at risk." He says this needs to be done "before irreversible harm is inflicted."
Dollens was born in Bartlesville and is a graduate of Bartlesville High School.
