Commissioners OK $45K Emergency Management Grant Application

The Washington County Commissioners approved a grant application for Emergency Management on Monday.
Kary Cox, the director of Washington County Emergency Management, says the grant is standard and is a pass-through item from FEMA to the state of Oklahoma.
The $45,000 award will be used for certain items at Emergency Management that fit the definitions from FEMA for operational and training expenses.
