It was announced this week that Municipal Garage Supervisor Jason Butterfield has been named the employee of the month, as named by the Employee Advisory Committee.

Deputy Fire Chief Jerry Berry nominated Butterfield for assisting when wildfires destroyed structures earlier this year on Circle Mountain Rd. Berry had this to say about Butterfield’s efforts:

“Jason has gone over and above to help with getting our fire trucks repaired. He has come in to order parts and diagnose problems while he was on vacation. He has come in after hours and on weekends to keep our trucks running.”

Butterfield will receive eight hours of special vacation, a gift certificate and $25 in chamber bucks. If you would like to nominate someone to be an Employee of the Month, send an email to EAC@cityofbartlesville.org.
