All high school athletics are into the summer months now as most fall sports are getting ready to kick back up in the coming months. For Nowata, they’ve had a busy summer. Athletic Director for Nowata High Athletics, Homer Johnston, has had plenty on his plate to take care of, including the hiring of a couple of new coaches.

Johnston talks about what the last month has been like since school ended.

With June almost coming to a close, fall sport practices will start to pick up very soon after the July mandatory dead period enacted by the OSSAA. Johnston talks about what the end of summer will look like for Nowata Athletics.
