Bartlesville Bruin basketball standout, and 5-star point guard David Castillo has announced where he intends to play his college basketball. The junior guard had narrowed his 15-plus offer list down to a final choice of three between Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Kansas.

BHS Head coach Clent Stewart has a special connection to Castillo’s choice of the Wildcats, as that is where Stewart played his collegiate ball. Here is Stewart talking about what it means to him to have one of his own players go to his alma mater.

Castillo says that now that he has made his college choice, he can focus on just getting better and getting prepared for his final year of high school ball before he goes to the next level. Castillo has just one year left of his illustrious high school career, as the 5-star junior is less than 500 points away from 2,000 total points.
