Bruin Football in Travel 7 v. 7

Let’s look at Bartlesville High offseason football again, as the Bruins inch closer to spring practice in mid-May.
Bartlesville is under direction of second-year head coach Harry Wright, who has taken advantage of the extra preparation time before spring this year.
A year ago, Wright was still getting his ducks in a row for the fall of 2022. With his entire staff still intact from last season, Bartlesville can build upon its continuity. One of the ways the Bruins have done this is through 7-on-7 competitions. BHS can put together its own travel team to compete together.
Wright talks about how the team came about.
BHS has gone to Tulsa, Wichita, Joplin and other cities with its skill guys getting the extra work in.
Official spring practice cannot start until the end of the high school spring sports season, which coincides with the state track meet for 6A schools in Oklahoma.
