The Pawhuska Huskies could not have scripted a better performance in Friday night’s win at Wyandotte. The Huskies won 48-0. The Pawhuska offense scored each time but once in the first half. Devon Bighorse got his first career interception and the special teams unit recovered an onside kick.

It was Todd Drummond playing pitch and catch with John Reed for the first points of the night, just over a minute into the first quarter.

Following the onside kick recovery by Tyrel Richardson, Deacon Hendren scored on a screen pass, extending the lead to 14-0. The interception from Bighorse helped extend the lead and leading 28-0, Jack Long got in on the action as the first quarter came to a close.

The Huskies continued to pour it on as the second quarter opened with Drummond finding Dalton Hurd for the touchdown this time.

Pawhuska led Wyandotte 48-0 at the half and the clock ran in the second half, allowing for many of the younger Pawhuska players to get quality reps.

Pawhuska will host Ketchum for senior night next Friday. That is a game you can hear on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1 and KPGMTV.com.
