Doggers to Rely on Offensive Strength in 2021
.jpg)
The Dewey Bulldoggers have boasted a high-powered offense in recent years and they’re hoping to revamp the unit ahead of the 2021 fall season. Last year, the Doggers scored 88 points in two wins over Miami and Riverton to open the season. Then in the next eight games Dewey scored 126 points—going 1-7 in that’s stretch. Third-year head coach Trent Turner wants to introduce some new wrinkles in the offense this year.
Turner had previously said that he’s comfortable with eight or nine different options at wide receiver. He expects Dewey to run a lot of four receiver sets. Dallas Mullikin and Jacob Mouser are top returning targets from a year ago.
Dewey opens the season with Miami at home on August 27. Select Dewey football games this season can be heard on KRIG 104.9 FM.
