The Hornets of Copan High will being KRIG 104.9's coverage of the annual Caney Valley Tournament on Monday evening from Ramona. 

Let’s dive a bit into the Copan matchup, as the Hornets will be taking on the JV club of the varsity team they just played this past Friday. Copan fell to the Oklahoma Union varsity guys 84-41 to drop their record to 7-6 on the season.

After rolling for a bit, a tough schedule has caught up with the Hornets. Copan has dropped three of four, with losses to Barnsdall, Woodland, and the before-mentioned Cougar guys.

The Hornets basically play with underclassmen this season. Head coach Kevin Foreman says he has been pleased with the results with the younger group. He mentioned Wyatt Davis, and a few others, as guys that are leaders in their young careers.
