The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s basketball now knows its NAIA National Tournament seeding and pairing.

The Eagles were announced as a four seed and will be taking on fifth-seeded Bethel-Indiana. OKWU is in the eight-team Naismith quadrant of the bracket as a part of the 32-team field from all over the country.

OKWU went on a phenomenal run in the season’s second half. The Eagles won 17 of their last 20 contests including three straight wins on the way to a Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament championship.

Head coach Donnie Bostwick talks about the journey his team has taken this year.

Coach Bostwick is no stranger to the national tournament having led the Eagles to a national championship in 2009 during his first stint with the school.

Wesleyan will have just over a week to prepare for Bethel as tournament play begins on March 7 from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The entire NAIA DII National Tournament bracket can be found here.
