Caney Valley Takes On Holland Hall In Playoffs

Caney Valley is making its first playoff appearance since 2010 after clinching the final spot in 2A District 8 with a win over Chelsea last week. It doesn’t get any easier for Trojans this week as they will take on undefeated Holland Hall who is ranked no. 2 in the state.
Colbert has amassed over 3,000 total yards and 35 touchdowns on the year. If the Trojans pull of the upset it will behind the arm and legs of their star quarterback.
Holland Hall is one of the most prolific offenses in the state as they’ve put up at least 35 points in its last seven contests. That unit will challenge a Trojans defense that gives up an average of 31 points per game.
You can hear Caney Valley on the radio tomorrow/tonight with coverage starting at 7:15 on KRIG 104.9 FM.
