During the month of February, Barnsdall residents were under a mandatory boil water order. The National Guard brought in a water tank by and members of the Central Baptist Church in Owasso delivered 17,000 bottles of water to the citizens of Barnsdall.

Brock Moore said the town's water situation has been his first priority since becoming mayor and a new filtration unit is now being installed at the water treatment plant. Moore has been working to secure funding for months now, in the hope that this project will address the high contaminants still present in the drinking water.
