Brown Felony Charge Filed

28-year Kevin Wayne Brown of Bartlesville was in front of a judge for the second straight day as he's charged with alluring a child under 16 into a secluded area.
According to a court affidavit, a mother told Bartlesville police that she discovered that her 10-year old daughter was communicating with Brown on a phone chatting application. The victim's mother reportedly learned that Brown liked a picture of a child in shorts and talked about meeting her at a local market to buy Girl Scout cookies. Upon further investigation, the officer downloaded the same app and agreed to meet him at Walgreens.
During the conversation, Brown said he would be driving a silver car. When officers arrived at Walgreens, they found the silver car, saw Brown, and took him into custody. Brown confessed to being involved with the girl, admitted to having other conversations with young girls on the app, and receiving obscene images on his phone and computer.
Brown's next court date is March 23rd. Bond remains at $50,000.
