Coffeyville Police Arrest Three in Jewelry Store Burglary

Coffeyville Police responded to a citizen reported burglary on Thursday, November 12, at about 5 A.M. They arrived at Eisele's Jewelry at 124 West Eighth Street to see three suspects leaving the area in a vehicle. The driver went off road in Walter Johnson Park. Police were able to arrest one suspect while the other two fled on foot into the wooded area of the park. A second suspect was captured in the park with the help of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and their canine unit.

The third suspect is now in custody. All three are from Parsons, Kansas. Jumani Coleman, Vaughn Leon and Kevin Quinn are all charged with burglary, felony theft, criminal damage to property, flee and elude in the commission of a felony and felony obstruction. Quinn faces additional charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. The investigation continues and there could be additional charges.
