Huskies Prepare for Senior Night Battle Against Morrison
The Pawhuska Huskies have clinched the No. 2 seed in Class A-1 District 3. Meanwhile, the Huskies are playing a desperate Morrison team that has to win if they want to make it to the playoffs. Pawhuska Coach Matt Hennesy said the Wildcats are a team that has gotten better as the year has went along and it is always dangerous playing a team in Morrison's position.
Hennesy said during this final week of the regular season, and in this final game, Pawhuska will continue working on the fundamentals to ensure that they are ready for the first round of playoffs next week. He added that it has been tough for the coaching staff to peak ahead to a potential first round playoff opponent because Hartshorne, Warner and Panama are all in a three way log jam for second place in their district.
Senior night festivities, along with our KPGM broadcast, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. You can tune in on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
