Coach Wright Previews Sand Springs

Bartlesville High head football coach Harry Wright and Bruin color man Kyle Ppool talked Bruin football on Wednesday night at coach Wright’s weekly radio show from Dink’s Pit BBQ.

Coach Wright talked about Bartlesville’s loss to Collinsville and previewed Friday night’s District opener at Sand Springs.

The Bruin defense played well a week ago in the loss against the Cardinals. Despite being put in some bad spots, the defense continued to come up with stops to keep BHS in the game.

Wright said that position group and special teams kept the Bruins in it. 

After going 0-3 against three 5A opponents in the non-District, Bartlesville will have to face its first 6A-II foe on the road in the Sandites tomorrow night.

Wright says although no one wants to be 0-3, there are plenty of signs that Bartlesville has improved from week-to-week.
