Bruin Hoops Hosts Sand Springs Tuesday
Bartlesville High basketball is at home against Sand Springs on Tuesday night.
It is the first District double-header of the season at Bruin Field House.
Bartlesville’s boys and girls stand at 1-1 following a loss at Edmond North in District action a week ago today against two of the top teams in the state.
On the guy’s side, Bartlesville struggled a bit on offense against an Edmond North team with significant size. Bruin head coach Tommy DeSalme says he and the coaching staff are still figuring out the best plan of attack offensively.
Two names that have still come up consistently positive are Nash Zervas and Dennis Duncan. Those are two of the Bruins with the most returning experience from last year.
Greater than that, DeSalme says those guys have been at the top of the list when it comes to effort.
Sandite boys are 4-0 following a tournament championship in Bixby this past weekend. The Sand Springs girls are 1-0 with a win over Enid.
6:30 tip for the girls, guys to follow at 8:00. Pregame begins at 6:00 on KWON with a video stream on KWONTV.com.
