Bartlesville Volleyball Gets Another Win
Bartlesville High volleyball is starting to solidify itself as one of the top teams of the state.
The Bruins earned a road win over No. 8 ranked Jenks on Tuesday night, 3-2.
The Bruins gutted out a victory with wins in the final two sets. BHS took the first, 25-21, but then fell somewhat lopsided in the next two. Bartlesville would win set four 25-23 then set five 15-13 to take home the win.
Head coach Andrew Blain says that Ellie Benson was the hero of the match. Benson had multiple big kills in big moments. Meanwhile Emry Brown led BHS in kills while Sophie Fry rebounded with good defense in the final couple of matches.
Bartlesville has won 10 of 11 and is now 23-6 entering the final couple weeks of the year.
