The Pawhuska Huskies made their first true road trip of the season on Tuesday evening to Frontier. The Lady Huskies closed the game on a 27-3 win to win 65-38, while the boys fell, 80-61.

On the girls side, Pawhuska led from wire-to-wire, but the game was much closer than the final score indicated. With less than two minutes remaining in the third quarter, Frontier had trimmed it to a one score game. That is when Pawhuska closed the game on the above mentioned 27-3 run.

This bucket put the Lady Huskies up by double digits in the late going of the third quarter.

Hannah Reynolds and Brooklyn Miles finished in double figures for Pawhuska.

On the guys side, the Mustangs were hot from the field from start to finish. Frontier led 40-27 at halftime and from there, the Huskies mostly traded baskets with the Mustangs in the second half.

In the first quarter, Frontier got out to a 10-0 lead and led 16-9, but a late Husky flurry kept Pawhuska in the game and gave the Huskies their lone lead heading into the second quarter.

Darian West and Dax Godsey finished in double figures for the Huskies.

Pawhuska has the rest of the week off before playing their first home game of the season next Monday against Tulsa CHEF. That is a game we will carry for you on 99.1 FM KPGM and KPGMTV.com.
