District play ramps up into full swing this Friday night across northeast Oklahoma and for the first time this year, all area schools across the listening area will be in action this Friday.

Bartlesville looks to get its first win of the year and start out 1-0 in district play, as they travel to the Tulsa metro area to take on Sand Springs. The Sandites are a team receiving six votes in the latest Oklahoma high school football poll, as voted on by the Associated Press.

Dewey has its homecoming this week and sitting an 0-3 on the year, the Bulldoggers will face a test, as they get to host the second ranked team in Class 2A-I, Metro Christian.

Coming off of their first win since 2022, the Caney Valley Trojans will look to make it two straight as they host an 0-4 Nowata team.

Coming off a win at Nowata last week, the Barnsdall Panthers travel to Fairland. In the A-II poll, Barnsdall is receiving 14 votes.

Copan is undefeated in B-II and has moved to number five in this week's poll after being un-ranked last week. This week, the Hornets travel down Highway 75 to take on Dewar, who is ranked sixth in B-I.

Despite starting 1-2, South Coffeyville, is receiving one vote in the Class C poll this week. The Lions are off until a game at Watts next week. An 0-3 Wesleyan Christian School team plays at Foyil, who stands at 1-2.
