Former Bruin Volleyball star reaches 2,000 career assists for OKWU

Oklahoma Wesleyan University volleyball is having a special season as they are currently 16-1 overall, and Junior Setter Sydney Collins is big reason why as she reached 2,000 assists in the Eagles 3-2 win over McPherson on Saturday. The former Bruins star says that it meant a lot to achieve the milestone in her hometown with her teammates.
OKWU Head Coach Tracie Gillette is also Sydney's Mom and expressed her thoughts on Sydney reaching the milestone. 
OKWU faces one of the better teams in the KCAC in Ottawa at home tonight, and Gillette knows a win can give them the fast track towards a conference title.
OKWU puts their 13 game winning streak on the line tonight as they host Ottawa University at 6 p.m
