No more Jackson Arnold for the Sooners at quarterback.

OU head football coach Brent Venables made the announcement on Monday night during his coach’s show on KWON.

Arnold will be benched for true freshman QB Michael Hawkins.

Hawkins will get the start at Auburn on Saturday afternoon. He finished the Tennessee contest in the second half going 11-18 for 132 yards and a touchdown. He also had a team-high 22 yards rushing.
