It wasn't a good weekend for the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles baseball team this past weekend as they host York College.  After falling to the Panthers Friday afternoon, York College completed the sweep Saturday afternoon by the scores of 13-10 and 5-1.

In the first game, York College took a 3-0 lead after the first inning and never lost their lead. OKWU chipped back in the game, but the Panthers would come back by scoring four runs in the seventh and three more runs in the eighth inning.  Landon Williams took the loss on the mound.  Will Price went 2 for 5 with a homerun and 3 RBI's.

In the second game, the Eagles hoped that they could get a win and things looked good for a while. OKWU led 1-0 after three innings of play, but York College came back, scoring four runs in the fourth and two more runs in the fifth.  The Eagles managed just four hits in game two.

OKWU is alone in fourth place in KCAC with a 15-13 record and 28-17 overall.  York College currently is in first place in KCAC play.  Next up for the Eagles is this Tuesday at St. Gregory's.
