Winget Schedule For Thursday and Friday
Rain had its way with day No. 1 of the Glen Winget Memorial Baseball Tournament, as no games were played at either location for the event on Wednesday, which was supposed to open up the event.
Certain parts of Bartlesville got nearly four inches of rain throughout the day. Because of the tournament being split between two locations this year – it should come with relative ease to make up the games.
The Doenges Ford Indian’s will play a single game on Thursday - against Ada at 4:15 PM – and then wrap up pool play in the tournament with a double-header on Friday afternoon at 3:00 and 5:30 against Shawnee and Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
All of the Indian’s games will be played at the Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball practice facility off Silver Lake.
The tournament is pushing the games at Wesleyan until late on Thrusday afternoon and Friday in order to give that field a longer chance to dry.
We will carry Thursday's Indian game vs. Ada at 4:15 on Sports Talk 1500 AM and 99.1 FM - KPGM. Also online at BartlesvilleRadio.com and on the Bartlesville Radio App.
