Winget Coming Up
The Glen Winget Tournament is synonymous with Independence Day in Bartlesville - and it is here again.
Games begin on Wednesday at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. The Doenges Ford Indian’s have had a tough year, but did pick up their second win of the summer this past Friday.
The Indian’s nearly got a double-header sweep of the Ada A's, but gave up a five-run lead for a split double-header.
Bartlesville will open up the Winget on Wednesday evening at 7:45 against Kickapoo.
There are two four-team pools in his year’s tournament, meaning eight teams will play four games apiece over the course of the four-day event.
